BAIUST Business Club celebrates its 1st anniversary

BAIUST Business Club under the Department of Business Administration has observed its 1st-year celebration program in an auspicious gathering of teachers, students, distinguished guests on 18th May 2017. Prior to the date, a two-week activity has been initiated consist of business debate, idea contest, General Knowledge competition, Invitation to top official of 35 banks and financial Institution based on Comilla to adding value to the grand celebration. A colorful rally started from the campus of School of Business and roaming the entire campus of BAIUST. A formal session was taken place in the BAIUST Central Auditorium. The honorable Vice Chancellor of BAIUST, Brigadier General Ilyas Iftekhar Rasul, ndc, psc (Retd.) was present as the chief guest and inaugurated the program with an inspirational speech. The program was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran. The Acting Dean of School of Business and Head of the Department, Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Associate Professor, DBA congratulates the members of the club for the successful journey of one year. He also wishes the club for its bright future. Then two distinguished guest speakers-Mr. Md. Syeedul Al-Amin, Assistant Professor, Comilla University and Mr. Md. Kazi Naim, CEO and Lead Consultant, Kore facilitation and training were delivered their motivational speech and Interactive-grooming session, career talks to the students. Later, all winners of business week events were awarded crests and certificates by Head of the Department, Advisor of Business Club and Faculty members of Department of Business Administration. The formal session was concluded by the chair of the session and Advisor of BAIUST Business Club Mr. Md. Shariful Islam, Assistant Professor, DBA with recognizing some milestone events of last year, the expression of the future vision of the Club for next year and vote of thanks to all concern. Faculty members, staff officials from different departments were present on the occasion. The second session started after a lunch break followed by a pleasant cultural program. Students from all batches, faculty members of Department of Business Administration spontaneously participated in the event.
